This makes the smart-default bundle one-source again: the authored .ward/ward-kdl/ward-kdl.defaults.kdl stays tracked, and the embedded defaults copy is regenerated as an ignored build artifact before build/test/lint.

  • Removed the tracked embedded copy from version control.
  • Wired make build/test/vet/lint/cover/install and CI to regenerate the defaults asset first.
  • Tightened the tests to name the canonical source/generated-copy contract explicitly.
  • Tests: make test, make vet, make lint.
  • Review gate: intentionally skipped because the temporary ward default is pending brokered QA.
