What this is

Coordination ticket for tonight's headless burndown session against milestone 7 (ward launch). Not dispatchable work - engineers should not pick this up. Closes at end of session with a log of what landed.

Milestone state at sprint open: 67 open / 8 closed - 57 headless, 3 interactive, 7 consult. All triage decisions are baked into per-ticket comments (2026-07-01 triage session); engineers should read their ticket's comments before starting.

Pre-flight (before any milestone work)

#301 - republish dev-base :latest (cred-perm fix). Headless runs hit the 0600 root:root bug at seed time until this lands. Dispatch FIRST.
#222 - claude auth silent-hang. Run right after #301; a stale credential can eat the whole session window silently.
#381 - only if tonight's runs use the dispatch broker; skip for plain warded runs.
Kai manual action: provision the GitHub token/secret for #454 (create-release on the mirror) so it is dispatchable when its slot comes up.

Landed since sprint open - pre-flight #301 and #381 closed. Queue heads all closed: #427, #444 (epic, folding #445 #461 #468 #482), #455, #436, #489, #490. The wide docs tail is burned down to 7 open tickets. #222 stays open on its interactive label per triage - the session's first headless run doubled as its fleet-health canary and came back clean (comment on #222).

Dispatched just now (wave 2, five concurrent engineer runs):

#478 - implement ward lint as documented (per DECISION).
#476 - AGENTS.md adopter-agent path.
#465 - agent-preflight.md legibility batch.
#441 - scoped to the honesty-fix half only (README paragraph + repo description), noting #453's landed example bundle and the ward#503 remainder.
#437 - break the authoring-doc pointer circle, integrating with #453's landed anchor.

Addendum (07:1xZ): Kai confirms the #454 GitHub release token is NOT yet provisioned - #454 stays held out of the queue until the manual pre-flight step 4 happens. Everything else dispatchable is now in flight or sequenced for wave 3. Recorded by Claude Code (Fable).

Docker is a hard requirement for ward agent / warded but is never named as a prerequisite anywhere in README, AGENTS.md, or agent.md #464
