Delete branch "docs/hiring-align-with-scoring-rubric"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Closes #109.
The Trello Board Meta scoring rubric had moved ahead of this page. The board's own
PUBLIC CAREER SOURCEScard names/hiring/as the source of truth for role shape, location, compensation, employment, culture, values, first-contact context, and interview format, so anything the rubric scores and the page omits is a recruiter reading the wrong signal. The contradiction this fixes
The page said "No Bay Area office is a hard stop." The rubric scores a company with no offices anywhere at the category maximum, explicitly stronger than a hybrid role with a real Bay Area office, because there is no office to be recalled to. The old wording turned away the single best arrangement on the ladder.
The hard stop now reads as US offices with none in the Bay Area, which is the satellite-recall case it was always meant to catch. Bay Area satellites of companies headquartered elsewhere pass, and so do companies whose only offices are overseas.
What else is now on the page
Two commits, split by theme.
Role-shape signals:
Practical fit and two new sections:
Deliberately left off
Recruiter cadence and expiry timers stay internal board machinery. The FTE-client-services versus independent-contracting distinction stays a live-conversation topic. Verticals are named as a category without being listed.
Verification
Content-only change inside existing markup, no new Nunjucks constructs, so the Cypress smoke check is skippable per AGENTS.md. Voice-linted: no em-dashes, no en-dashes, no semicolons, no italics. The two themed commits were split from a single reviewed diff and reproduce it exactly at 72 insertions and 16 deletions.
Companion board change, not in this PR
Rubric category 1 needs an offshore-only-offices band so the board and this page agree. That lands on Trello.
