Summary

  • preserve current main role-harness and feature wording while resolving the inventory conflict
  • compact docs/FEATURES.md without removing capability links
  • keep the inventory at 3,875 characters under its 4,000-character cap

Root cause

Forgejo run 2487 failed documentation-layout because docs/FEATURES.md reached 4,137 characters. Current main independently reduced it to 3,957 characters, and the merge resolution retains that newer work while restoring safer headroom.

Verification

  • ward exec repo-test-gate
  • 616 tests passed
  • full pre-commit suite passed
  • conflict-free against current main
