Problem

Main CI failed when docs/FEATURES.md reached 4,137 characters against its 4,000-character documentation cap. A concurrent feature change reduced the file to 3,957 characters but left little headroom and conflicted with the original CI-fix branch.

Outcome

Preserve the newer role-harness inventory wording while compacting the feature overview below 3,900 characters.

Acceptance

Every shipped capability link remains present.
The resolved inventory stays below the owning 4,000-character cap.
The exact repository CI gate passes on the merged tree.
PR #793 is conflict-free, remotely green, and lands through the Ward director merge gate.
