The burn-down session working for Kai landed this PR on main at b4d1a2bbd9 through the session merge queue (ward#1168 native-merge workaround). The queue resolved the single comment-only conflict in cmd/ward/broker_exec.go to main's wording, and the subsystem tests passed in the merge worktree. The burn-down session closes this PR because the branch content now lives on main.
