Adds tooling-sirens-dowel-temporal-brand, a role-scoped source that gives the Sirens Dowel lane sourced knowledge of Temporal's visual system.

Dowel sits in #moxn-temporal and was built for the August 2026 Temporal livestream, so questions about Temporal's palette, typography, and workflow views land in their room. This is what they answer from.

What it holds

  • The three published colors - UV #444CE7, Space Black #141414, Off White #F8FAFC. These are the only colors temporal.io/brand publishes, and the skill keeps them separated from everything derived, because quoting a hover state as a brand color is the most common way this goes wrong.
  • Four named gradients - taken from the gradient ids in Temporal's own inline SVG defs, so the names are theirs: purple-ultraviolet, pink, green, mist.
  • The full semantic token layer - surface, text, border, and interactive families pulled from the shipped stylesheet, in both the authoritative RGB triplet form and hex.
  • Typography and scale - Aeonik across seven shipped weights plus the separate Aeonik Air family, Noto Sans Mono for code, and the spacing, type, tracking, radius, container, motion, blur, and shadow ramps.
  • Page and article architecture - navigation shape, dark-by-default ground with declared light inversions, and the blog template's single-column difficulty ramp.
  • The five-channel state language - dots, lines, icons, colors, liveness, with the one-channel-one-question rule called out as the transferable part.

Scoping

The name matches no glob in agentic-os/.agents/roles.kdl or agentic-os-kai/.agents/roles.kdl, so no role bundle in either catalogue picks it up. It reaches a bundle only where coilyco-gaming/sirens-echo's agent/compose/roles.kdl names it, and that graph's role "engineer" is the Dowel lane. Companion PR: sirens-echo#985.

This replaces an earlier tooling-designer-temporal-brand naming in this branch, which the aos design role swept up through its *design* glob. The body was reframed with it: the actor is Dowel rather than a designer, the work product is one message in one channel, and the cross-references to design-system and kai-design-language are gone because neither reaches this bundle and sirens-echo denies the latter outright.

Sourcing

Values come from temporal.io/brand, the shipped app.css, and the new-UI article, not from screenshots. The campaign announcement-bar color and an embedded third-party widget color are both listed under a "not brand" heading so they do not get sampled by mistake. Aeonik's commercial license is named, so Dowel says the typeface is paid rather than pointing at a lookalike.

Merge order

Merge this first. sirens-echo#985 cannot go green until the skill exists on main, since an unmatched selector is a hard error there.

pre-commit run --all-files passes. docs/FEATURES.md is untouched, since one catalog entry is not a new significant capability.

Adds `tooling-sirens-dowel-temporal-brand`, a role-scoped source that gives the Sirens Dowel lane sourced knowledge of Temporal's visual system. Dowel sits in `#moxn-temporal` and was built for the August 2026 Temporal livestream, so questions about Temporal's palette, typography, and workflow views land in their room. This is what they answer from. ## What it holds - **The three published colors** - UV `#444CE7`, Space Black `#141414`, Off White `#F8FAFC`. These are the only colors temporal.io/brand publishes, and the skill keeps them separated from everything derived, because quoting a hover state as a brand color is the most common way this goes wrong. - **Four named gradients** - taken from the gradient ids in Temporal's own inline SVG defs, so the names are theirs: `purple-ultraviolet`, `pink`, `green`, `mist`. - **The full semantic token layer** - surface, text, border, and interactive families pulled from the shipped stylesheet, in both the authoritative RGB triplet form and hex. - **Typography and scale** - Aeonik across seven shipped weights plus the separate Aeonik Air family, Noto Sans Mono for code, and the spacing, type, tracking, radius, container, motion, blur, and shadow ramps. - **Page and article architecture** - navigation shape, dark-by-default ground with declared light inversions, and the blog template's single-column difficulty ramp. - **The five-channel state language** - dots, lines, icons, colors, liveness, with the one-channel-one-question rule called out as the transferable part. ## Scoping The name matches **no** glob in `agentic-os/.agents/roles.kdl` or `agentic-os-kai/.agents/roles.kdl`, so no role bundle in either catalogue picks it up. It reaches a bundle only where `coilyco-gaming/sirens-echo`'s `agent/compose/roles.kdl` names it, and that graph's `role "engineer"` is the Dowel lane. Companion PR: [sirens-echo#985](https://forgejo.coilysiren.me/coilyco-gaming/sirens-echo/pulls/985). This replaces an earlier `tooling-designer-temporal-brand` naming in this branch, which the aos design role swept up through its `*design*` glob. The body was reframed with it: the actor is Dowel rather than a designer, the work product is one message in one channel, and the cross-references to `design-system` and `kai-design-language` are gone because neither reaches this bundle and sirens-echo denies the latter outright. ## Sourcing Values come from `temporal.io/brand`, the shipped `app.css`, and the new-UI article, not from screenshots. Aeonik's commercial license is named, so Dowel says the typeface is paid rather than pointing at a lookalike. ## Merge order Merge this **first**. sirens-echo#985 cannot go green until the skill exists on `main`, since an unmatched selector is a hard error there. `pre-commit run --all-files` passes. `docs/FEATURES.md` is untouched, since one catalog entry is not a new significant capability.

Extract Temporal's visual system into a role-scoped source: the three
published brand colors, the four named gradients from their own SVG defs,
the full semantic token layer, Aeonik typography, the scale, page and
article architecture, and the five-channel workflow-state language.

Values come from temporal.io/brand, the shipped site stylesheet, and the
new-UI article rather than from screenshots, so the published palette and
the derived token layer stay separated.

Binds to the design role through the existing *design* glob in roles.kdl.
