Current state

AOS #689 removed the core image. Each language image now installs the common agent surface directly on Ubuntu, and full inherits the same-release Rust image before grafting the remaining toolchains. The common installer still includes agent-compose.

The current publication gate is the independent language family and full, not a core manifest. The replacement publication must complete before Ward can refresh its consumed AOS image.

Goal

The operator publishes and promotes the refactored dev-base family, then verifies that the moving full-image aliases contain agent-compose for Ward native MCP bootstrap.

Work

The operator resolves #692 and records a successful draft publication for all five language manifests plus full.
The operator dispatches the release retag against the release ref.
The operator verifies agentic-os:release and agentic-os:latest contain a working agent-compose executable.
Ward refreshes ward:release only after that compatibility check passes.
The operator records the successful AOS and Ward run links on this issue.
