agent-launch-pillars.md is staged but unfinished. The "Open" section at the bottom enumerates what is still missing:

  • Pillar grading rubric. How do you tell a pillar is at full height vs. half height. Probably a short checklist per pillar element (substrate, observability, lockdown, skill).
  • Order of investment. Which pillar to build first if starting cold. Plausible answer: cognition first, because nothing else points the others. Worth defending or rejecting.
  • Payload as a first-class noun. Define what a payload is, give it a one-paragraph treatment. Use it to disambiguate "this is a payload-shaped task, delegate it to an agent" vs. "this is a pillar-shaped task, invest in substrate."
  • Worked example. A single shipping loop that touches every pillar in sequence. Pulls cognition → gh-issue → coily-kubectl → release into one narrative.
  • Pre-agent vs. agent-era contrast. Why the same investments did not compound before. Lockdown without agents is just hygiene. Skills without agents are just docs. Agents are what turn the pillar stack into a velocity multiplier.

Drafting plan: one section per SDI round, not all at once. Each section through generate-variance / filter / burn-down before moving to the next.

Also pending:

  • Cross-link footer to Stochastic Design Iteration, per #1327.
  • Re-evaluate slug. Currently agent-launch-pillars. Acceptable but worth one more pass before committing.
