/hiring/states the working conditions Kai needs and the evidence that she delivers when she has them, without naming a cause. The page stops reading as a list of preferences and starts reading as a specification an employer can check itself against.Current state, fetched 2026-08-17
The page already carries a tenure note ("Early career transitions were structural (company closures). Recent moves reflect high-stress recovery, values conflicts, or role-fit issues. Seeking roles matching or exceeding previous best fit") and a work-environment section ranking manager quality, autonomy, team composition, and communication style above salary and title. That is a good base. It is thin on what the reader is supposed to do with it.
Also stale on this page, owned by #364
Note before editing: #364's edits were never landed and its sandbox is purged, so the private sources still carry pre-change state too. Do not treat any single source as authoritative on these numbers without confirming with Kai.

No diagnosis, no health category names, no mention of caregiving. Causes stay in lore. This page carries conditions and outcomes only.

Gem drafts the wording. This ticket owns the structure, the claims, and the constraint that the page and the private sources agree afterward.

Correction: drop the on-call content from this ticket
Kai flagged 2026-08-17 that on-call load is not a contributing factor to her tenure pattern, and that agents keep filing it in regardless. A grep across lore and
agentic-os-kaiconfirms it: on-call appears only as a forward-looking want for the next role inlore-career-direction, never as a cause of any past exit. The original description was written by an agent that carried its own generic hiring-manager analysis into Kai's record. Two items above are therefore wrong and must not be published.
Do not add to the page:
The four-question list is retracted entirely. It was an agent invention built on the invented driver, not a set of questions Kai uses. Anything of that shape needs to come from her before it reaches a public page.
Still valid in this ticket: the stale comp floor, the stale onsite cadence, the conditions-over-preferences framing, the RTO policy-change-history point, and the do-not-add list covering diagnosis and health categories.
lore-capacity-and-tenurenow separates what Kai stated from agent analysis, andlore-compensationowns the comp numbers. Read both before drafting. The two stale numbers are corrected and live

Office cadence now reads:
Minimal edits inside the existing sentences, preserving the page's voice. Voice rules checked on the diff: no em-dashes, no semicolons.
Still open, and still Gem's

Repo note for whoever works this next
pre-commit run --all-filesreturns 97 pre-existing failures on cleanmain, allcatalog-doc-sizeplacement violations in.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/,drafts/, andsrc/pages/. None relate to this page. They did not block the commit, because commit-time hooks scope to staged files, but a full-repo run is red before you start and that is not something this ticket introduced. Worth its own issue rather than being absorbed into a content change.
