What was asked

Work out what eco-app should actually cover, benchmarked against the tools that already exist. Kai posted the comparison set and nothing else:

Why this is worth doing now rather than later

The pricing thread established that the community has no reliable pricing reference:

  • eco-calc still advertises itself for "Eco Global Survival 12.0.7" and has not been updated for v13. It reports a 40% raw input reduction where an AU3 actually gives 15%, so players following it have been selling at a loss. Upstream: https://github.com/aritchie05/EcoCraftingTool/issues/188
  • Eco Gnome is current on upgrades, but Theo reports its margin formula is opaque, with a 50% setting yielding roughly 75% margin and drifting worse the higher it is set.

Kai's conclusion in that thread was to stop depending on external tools:

This seems like a good case for... a new website to appear! One that knows our community specifically! Luckily I have just the thing

And on why Eco Gnome will not simply be adopted: "Eco Gnome is not going to be designed in a way that works effectively for us in masse IMO."

Concrete gap already named

Kai on the items page: "I need to populate price info tho."

Suggested shape of the deliverable

A feature matrix of what each of the four tools does, what eco-app does today, and which gaps are worth closing given that eco-app can assume Sirens' own mod set and cycle history, which none of the general tools can.
