very important: the price of most items shift over the course of a cycle, because of upgrades (the component) and various logistics improvements (roads, etc). Also there's a big shift in the economy pre and post currency. We probably shouldn't exclude data based on those factors, but we should collect it so that we can determine how it can inform the data viz.
