Apply and verify the projects-root terminal changes already landed on canonical main:

Operator verification

Converge the retained Windows tower with the windows-env role so future processes inherit PROJECTS_ROOT=X:/projects.
Run the repository's windows-terminal-converge Ward verb.
Start a fresh Alacritty window and confirm Zellij's main workspace plus new tabs and panes start at X:/projects.
Start fresh Git Bash, Warp, and PowerShell sessions and confirm their default directory is X:/projects.
Confirm an explicit task working-directory override still wins and existing terminal processes remain alive.

Why interactive

The engineer proved the repository behavior locally and pushed all four commits, but the engineer role cannot mutate or verify the live workstation.
