Problem - The desktop tower's heating situation is bad. Fans look like they are pointed wrong, and there are probably unused fan mount points.

Context: this was the session's original ask. The 3D photogrammetry scan (#215, #219) turned out too rough for airflow analysis, so the real path is direct measurement.

Next:

  • Get the case model number. It pulls the manufacturer's official fan-mount diagram - every slot, supported sizes, intake vs exhaust.
  • Interior photos. Each fan's frame edge has two molded airflow arrows, so orientation is checkable from a photo.
  • Map current fans against the ideal front-intake, rear-and-top-exhaust pattern. Recommend re-orientations and added fans.
  • Cross-reference with the heat-monitoring scripts once those exist.
