The
testjob in.forgejo/workflows/release.ymlstill runs inforgejo.coilysiren.me/coilyco-flight-deck/agentic-os:latest- the frozen pre-tier-split monolith tag, which nothing has published since aos#398. The same stale ref is the job container inci.yml,dep-bump.yml,promote.yml,mirror-to-github.yml,freshness.yml, andrelease.yml(three jobs). They keep working (the old tag still resolves) but silently rot.The publish scheme has since landed as: one
agentic-ospackage, variants as tags (79713d9restored a moving alias,b719e4fnamed it for the publishing branch,e6b28c3dropped the-fullsuffix). After the next release lands,agentic-os:releaseandagentic-os:vX.Y.Zexist under the unsuffixed name. Follow-up work:agentic-os:latesttoforgejo.coilysiren.me/coilyco-flight-deck/agentic-os:release, only after confirming the alias is pullable (chicken-and-egg: the release test job gates the publish that creates the alias, so the swap lands one release behind the scheme change).agentic-os-<tier>names.agentic-os-<tier>packages (including any:latest/:releasetags the interim v0.248.x-v0.249.x releases pushed) and the stale monolithagentic-os:latesttag.Related: ward#1139 removes ward's own hardcoded aos image default.

The engineer seeded the body once at launch and never re-reads it, so a comment or edit reaches only human readers, never the running engineer. A correction goes to a new issue, dispatched fresh. That is the only channel that reaches a run in flight. Where the forge supports it, ward locks this conversation to make that a road-block rather than a convention (ward#494).
