Replicate the Mac install (just shipped) on kai-server (Linux).

Steps

# On kai-server, in a Claude session or interactive shell:
brew install nushell wezterm 2>/dev/null || cargo install nu --locked
git clone git@github.com:coilysiren/dotfiles.git ~/projects/coilysiren/dotfiles
mkdir -p ~/.config/nushell
cd ~/projects/coilysiren/dotfiles
ln -sf $PWD/nu/env.nu ~/.config/nushell/env.nu
ln -sf $PWD/nu/config.nu ~/.config/nushell/config.nu
ln -sf $PWD/nu/ssm-env.nu ~/.config/nushell/ssm-env.nu
ln -sf $PWD/nu/hosts ~/.config/nushell/hosts

Verify

nu -c 'ssm-load; print $env.K3S_SERVER'

Should print https://kai-server:6443 with zero disk writes.

Notes

  • Linux nu config dir is ~/.config/nushell (XDG), unlike Mac.
  • hosts/linux.nu paths assume linuxbrew. Adjust if nu came from cargo.
  • AGENTS.md kai-linux-env rules: do not prefix commands with cd/export, invoke bare.
