Nothing is broken. The aterm fixtures are captured snapshots rather than a live read, so the Go suite here still passes. They are stale relative to reality, not failing.

The part that wants a real regeneration rather than a string swap

aterm/testdata/roster.json carries skill_digest values (sha256:1694d96a... on platform). The retitle changed both role SKILL.md bodies, so those digests moved too. Hand-editing the display name leaves a fixture that is internally inconsistent in a way no test currently catches. Regenerate it from agent-compose catalog against a build that includes dee54d1 instead.

The overlay fixtures look like plain renames, but they should be regenerated the same way for the same reason.

The one live consequence worth checking

aterm derives macOS app bundle names from the display name, so Angie :: Agentic Platform Engineer.app becomes Angie :: Core Platform.app and Delphi :: Design Engineer.app becomes Delphi :: Frontend Engineer.app. bundle_test.go already exercises a "Retired" path, so the retirement sweep is probably covered. Worth confirming against a real ~/Applications on a host that has the old bundles installed, because a stale bundle that never retires is a visible artifact per #363.

aterm/testdata/*.json regenerated from a build containing dee54d1, digests included.
Test constants in aterm/bundle_test.go and aterm/terminal_test.go match the regenerated fixtures.
docs/role-composed-skills.md names the current titles.
Installing over an existing bundle set retires the two old .app names rather than leaving both.

coilyco-flight-deck/agent-compose#344 is the recall pass this reverses two titles from, and #369 is the Applied Scientist retitle. #1223 is the standing prose sweep for retired seat words in this repository, which this adds two more names to.

Kai replaced Core Platform with Platform Engineer the same day. The issue body above names a title that is already retired, so read the target as:

Everything else in the body still holds. The stale-site counts, the digest argument, and the app-bundle consequence are unchanged, because the sites are stale either way and the fix is a regeneration rather than a string swap. A seat name moved too, which widens the fixture staleness past display names

Kai renamed the gamedev seat: Gale to Sprite, pronouns unchanged at they/them. Landed in coilyco-flight-deck/agent-compose@a2600b1, with housecast-v0.1.10 carrying the roster data.

No display name moved, so this adds nothing to the label taxonomy and nothing to docs/role-composed-skills.md. It does add to the fixture:

aterm/testdata/roster.json - 4 more stale values, all Gale, alongside the 3 stale display names already noted

That makes the fixture stale on two different axes now, which is worth knowing before anyone hand-patches it: the earlier comments were about display_name, and this one is identity.name plus the per-seat name entries. The regeneration argument is unchanged and gets stronger, since a hand edit now has to catch two field families plus the digests.

App bundle: Gale :: Game Developer.app becomes Sprite :: Game Developer.app. The full set to expect after regeneration is Angie :: Platform Engineer.app, Delphi :: Frontend Engineer.app, Gem :: Developer Relations.app, and Sprite :: Game Developer.app.

One thing to watch when reading this repository afterwards

agent-compose/docs/identity.md uses "sprite" as the common noun for a rendered agent form, in the list "an avatar, sprite, overlay figure, or other representation". That prose predates the seat and is still correct, so it was deliberately left alone. Anyone grepping sprite across the estate will now hit both senses, and the lowercase one is not about this seat.
