Outcome

Prove agent-compose as a general person-profile engine for external custom
roles, personality libraries, seats, copy contracts, evaluation matrices,
catalogue inspection, and portable verified bundles.

This issue is the public, generic parent for the Wave 1 engine work described by
the attached staging document. The child issues are the authoritative
implementation contracts.

Run contract: #115

Implementation slices

  • #122 - executable external profile example and arbitrary-role vertical
  • #123 - generalized seats beyond harness identities
  • #124 - profile-owned role copy contracts
  • #125 - custom evaluation matrices and pack-bound result v2
  • #126 - effective-profile catalogue inspection
  • #127 - deterministic bundle export and content-aware diff

Foundation dependencies

  • #110 - authored content and configuration ownership
  • #111 - selected person profile plus composable personality libraries
  • #112 - personality aliases and derived affinities
  • #121 - canonical role skills and compact startup identity

Product boundary

  • Agent-compose accepts local profile and library roots only.
  • Agent-compose performs no clone, pull, URL fetch, or git-ref resolution.
  • The public repository includes one generic compatibility fixture.
  • Consumer-specific persona authoring, private source material, consumer
repositories, and the staging document's later authoring wave remain outside
    this issue.
  • Personality definitions remain atomic. Roles compose ordered melds.
  • Role, seat, and personality selection changes identity and evaluation context
only. It grants no executable authority.

Done condition

  • Every child issue is implemented, validated, landed on canonical main, and
    closed.
  • The generic example exercises the integrated feature set through documented
compose, evaluation, overlay, roster, catalogue, describe, export, diff, and
    verification commands.
  • Legacy v1.x package, seat, result, and snapshot compatibility remains readable.
  • ward exec test and ward exec smoke pass on final canonical main.
  • The final audit in #115 maps this parent and every child acceptance item to
    repository evidence.
  • This issue closes only after all of the above are true.

All child contracts are landed and closed. The complete acceptance mapping is recorded in #115 at issue comment 44093. The integrated external-profile example and legacy compatibility checks pass on canonical main fca7468, together with ward exec test and ward exec smoke. Closing this locally complete parent while #115 retains the separate cross-repo live-proof wall.
